EVENT OVERVIEW:

This event is designed to bring together researchers from across Australia and New Zealand who have a shared interest in endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain.

Tired of seeing the sector operate in silos, we aim to foster a spirit of collegiality, encourage meaningful cross-institutional collaboration, and create a supportive environment for early- and mid-career researchers (ECRs and MCRs).

At the heart of our work is a common and vital goal: to improve treatment outcomes for people living with endometriosis and pelvic pain, and ultimately, to unravel disease mechanisms to find a cure.

With this unique opportunity to gather in Sydney, the event will showcase current research, highlight areas of expertise, and create space for connection, conversation, and future partnerships.

AUDIENCE & INVITATIONS

Anyone engaged in academic and clinical research in endometriosis or pelvic pain in Australia and New Zealand.  The invitation is also open to patients and consumers in the endometriosis community. Industry and commercial representatives will not be included unless their core activities involve genuine collaboration with academic and clinical researchers, such as participation in investigator-led or co-designed clinical trials.

Time is limited for the session, with 8 x 4-minute "speed-dating" spots available. The final agenda will be determined based on expressions of interest, with spots allocated on a first-come, first-served basis following completed registration. Every effort will be made to ensure a diverse mix of groups is represented in the session.
