Sarah Holdsworth-Carson 

Associate Professor Sarah Holdsworth-Carson is a well-recognised research scientist specialising in endometriosis. 

She earned her PhD in 2011 from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Melbourne.  With over a decade of research experience at the Royal Women's Hospital and more than 50 research publications, she has significantly contributed to the understanding of endometriosis.  

In 2021, she was appointed as the Research Program Manager at the Julia Argyrou Endometriosis Centre at Epworth.  Her research focuses on enhancing diagnostic strategies and developing improved disease classification tools by integrating laboratory-based discovery with clinical research. 

Currently, she serves as an Honorary Principal Fellow at the University of Melbourne and an Adjunct Associate Professor (Research) at Monash University.
